Dear Hermes Elementary School Community,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you all had an incredible summer, filled with precious moments and cherished memories with your loved ones. As we begin this new academic year, I am overjoyed to continue serving as the principal for my second year at this exceptional school. I feel grateful to be part of such a remarkable community, and I am delighted to be working alongside our dedicated assistant principal, Kelly Hills, who is returning to her role.

At Hermes School, we remain focused on creating a safe and nurturing environment for all members of our community. We believe in the power of strong and supportive relationships, which foster an inviting atmosphere where students can thrive. Our goal is to empower students to take risks, build positive connections with their peers, and cultivate a sense of belonging. By nurturing these relationships, we are confident that our students will achieve great academic success and personal growth.

Our remarkable staff at Hermes Elementary School is committed to fostering strong connections between the school and the wider community. We believe that by working together, we can make a positive and lasting impact on the future of our students. We take great pride in the dedication and expertise of our staff, who go above and beyond to support our students’ growth and success.

Hermes staff will continue to prioritize instructional time wisely to meet the unique needs of each student and help them succeed. We set high expectations for our students while encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. Our aim is to build confidence and a positive attitude towards work, preparing them for college and career readiness.

Once again, I extend a warm welcome back to all members of our community. We are thrilled to embark on another successful year together at Hermes, where our priority is ensuring the academic achievement of our students. ¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2023-2024! Espero que todos hayan pasado un verano increíble, lleno de momentos preciosos y recuerdos preciados con sus seres queridos. Al comenzar este nuevo año académico, estoy encantado de seguir sirviendo como directora para mi segundo año en esta escuela excepcional. Me siento agradecida de formar parte de una comunidad tan extraordinaria, y estoy encantada de trabajar junto a nuestra dedicada subdirectora, Kelly Hills, que vuelve a su puesto.

En Hermes School, seguimos enfocados en crear un ambiente seguro y enriquecedor para todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad.
