4th and 5th grade students met author Kamilla Benko on Tuesday, January 30th. Ms. Benko brought her brand new book, The Unicorn Quest, and shared a little about her life and her journey to becoming a published author. This author visit was extra special because The Unicorn Quest is Ms. Benko’s very first published text, and Hermes was her very first formal presentation! Students and teachers alike were inspired by her love for writing. We are exciting to see what Ms. Benko publishes in the future!
