Wednesday, February 5th was the 100th day of school for the 2024-2025 school year! Students and staff celebrated by dressing up as a 100 year old might dress. Younger grades practiced their counting skills by using math strategies to count to 100. Students showed that they can count by 5’s, 10’s, and even 1’s. Our little learners were proud to be 100 days smarter
5th graders had another milestone to celebrate – Wednesday was the 1,000th day of school for 5th graders! They’ve attended school for five full years, each year averaging to about 180 days. With Wednesday being the 100th day of school, they learned to multiply 5 x 180 days to get 900 days, and then they added the 100 days for this school year for a grand total of 1,000 days. They decorated the front foyer with 1,000 memories of their time in elementary school.
