Winter Art Garden of Youth ArtistsJardín de Arte de Invierno de Jóvenes Artistas

Huge congratulations are in order for the talented student artists from Hermes Elementary School who have been selected to showcase their work in the prestigious Winter Art Garden of Youth!

This city-wide exhibition celebrates the incredible creativity of K-12 student artists from across Aurora. Being chosen for this annual show—which typically features hundreds of fantastic drawings, paintings, and sculptures—is a remarkable accomplishment.

Way to represent Hermes Elementary and bring your artistic vision to the entire city! We can’t wait to see your amazing pieces on display.  Congratulations to the following students:

Javier Benitez, 1st grade, “Lines”   

David Reyes Lopez, 4th grade, “The Beach”  

Noemi Rodriguez, 4th grade, “Blue Dog” 

Oscar Pena, 5th grade, “Balloon Dog”   

Natalia Muro, 5th grade, “Crystals” 

The show runs from December 5th to January 17th at the Aurora Public Art Commission, 20 E. Downer Place Aurora, IL. The opening reception is December 5th from 5pm to 9 pm.

¡Felicitaciones enormes a los talentosos estudiantes artistas de Hermes Elementary School que han sido seleccionados para exhibir su trabajo en el prestigioso Jardín de Arte Juvenil de Invierno!

Esta exposición, que abarca toda la ciudad, celebra la increíble creatividad de los estudiantes de arte de K-12 de Aurora. Ser seleccionado para esta muestra anual—que suele incluir cientos de fantásticos dibujos, pinturas y esculturas—es un logro notable.

¡Qué buena manera de representar a Hermes Elementary y llevar su visión artística a toda la ciudad! Estamos ansiosos por ver sus increíbles obras expuestas. Felicidades a los siguientes estudiantes:

La exposición estará abierta al público del 5 de diciembre al 17 de enero en el Aurora Public Art Commission, 20 E. Downer Place Aurora, IL. La inauguración tendrá lugar el 5 de diciembre, de 5pm a 9 pm.
